Say What You Mean… (Why I miss a lot of shit)

So I miss shit, and not because I’m not paying attention. A lot of times it’s because i’m focused on what I’m going to do, so I’m not necessarily looking at another person’s behaviors and actions for the why, when they are happening. Because it doesn’t matter what they are doing. I already know how I’m going to move, usually. And then, hours, days, weeks, sometimes months later, after I sit back and analyze and reflect on the situation, because I always do, sometimes I do it sooner than other times. That’s when I draw a conclusion like, ‘oh that’s what that shit meant! Damn! I didn’t even think about that then!’ And it’s not that I don’t necessarily see the individual components right, I just might not add them together, like two plus two equal four, but I saw each individual two. And that’s also, because I be so focused on what I need to do and what I’m gonna do next.So I’ll be like, ‘ah,  hmm that was odd, and that was odd too, but let me go ahead and finish this work’. And the other thing is, when I communicate, I’m very direct. I let you know what I need, expect, want and feel with my words, with my verbal language. I’m not saying one thing and then gesturally doing something different and expecting people to not listen to what I say, but look at what my hands might be doing, even if they’re behind my back sometimes, like people like to do. But i’m realizing, that’s what a lot of people do.They say one thing and are miming something different and expecting people to comprehend the gesture and realize the verbal communication is bs. I know they say actions speak louder than words, but I’m almost 100% that this is not what they meant. I don’t think that meant to say one thing and do another, I think that applied more to allowing your actions to back up what you have already said verbally….but, I could be wrong. But either way, WTF is that? We have to do better people with communicating true, authentic messages! But in the meantime, I gots to pay more attention!
