Silly shit I be thinking or that happens to me!
Atlanta Dating Be Like….
Have you ever lived in a city where shit is so far apart that it even makes you reconsider your whole dating life? Like you’ll be done met a dude on a dating site or out and matched in 99.9% areas, this is your Mr. Right! And then he tell you where he stay, and because you’re not from the area , you have to put that shit in your GPS, and then that sucker tells you an hour and 12 minutes away, without traffic, cuz it’s midnight and you was excited about the prospect and suddenly Mr. Right ain’t looking so right no more lol but now he trying to set up a date and you like ‘Well, I had a long day at work! I’m so so tired!’ Welcome to Atlanta! But being on the dating scene again here in Atl after all this time, made me reevaluate that statistic you always hear about Atlanta, that says, there are 10 women for every man. I figured that must be within the actual city limit because there are plenty of men in Douglasville, Powder Springs, Kennesaw, Rome, Ga etc! That statistic is probably radius based, so ladies, if you’re willing to buckle up and drive an hour and a half or so, your prospects increase drastically!
Religious Killers
So I was watching one of my favorite shows the other day, and it had the funniest scene ever to me! The scene was between two men; a high-ranking Islam Minister, who also happened to be a killer and ran a school that trained killers and the second man was the head of a major drug family. The two had ended up in a war of sorts and the drug family had basically killed prolly like fifty of the Islam brothers. Idk the real amount, everyday somebody from the family would come in and be like, 10 more dead! And the war lasted for a month! So, in this particular scene, the drug guy asks the Islam Minister did he know if someone from their organization was aiding the guy who had started the whole beef. The Islam Minister responds, ‘The brotherhood is no more, Allah saw to that.’ I’m like, ‘What?! I think buddy sitting in front of you saw to that actually!’ Then the Islam Minister asks for two brothers that the drug guy was still holding hostage to be released! I’m like did you ask Allah!? He didn’t see fit to have them released either? I don’t know if Allah fooling with y’all Muslim hitmen then!’ And much to my point, he goes on to tell the drug guy, as an assurance for their release, that if he has any problems from the hostages after they were released, he’d kill them himself! In the name of Allah? Then because I’m balanced right, I started thinking. This is just a show, but historically, religious factions have killed people, multiple, multiple times, in the name of whichever God they happen to serve. Not the, quote extremists groups, not self defense killings either, but thought out and planned executions against, usually people who didn’t see their views, essentially. So, it made me wonder, when is it ok to kill and when is it considered a sin? Who is the judge of that seemingly sinful, but much-often justified for self-serving purposes, hypocritical decision? It all became very confusing to me….
